PDP Accused Gov. Oshiomhole of Edo on September, 10th election rigging plan

The Edo Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State has recently accused Governor Adams Oshiomhole of All Progressives Congress (APC) of his plot rig the September 10 governorship election in the state, and also uusing the medium to draw the attention of the government institutions and key agencies like INEC not to work with APC in election malpractice.

At the PDP governorship rally of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, in Uzebba Owan West Local Government Area, the party also challenged Governor Oshiomhole to tell Edo People how much the company Afrinvest has invested in the Edo University Iyamho (EUI), which is owned by
Godwin Obaseki.
Governor Oshiomhole was also accused of his plan to perfect his rigging of the election with INEC, officials, police, army and other law enforcement bodies.

The PDP Edo State Chairman, Dan Orbih also said it was morally wrong for Oshiomhole to use unappropriated funds to build the EUI in his hometown, accusing the governor of spending over N18 billion in the university, and was planning to hand over power to Obaseki, to continue from where he stopped.

Orbih, said “President Buhari has never intervened in any election before now, so we hope Edo State will not be an exception. Nobody can use INEC, police, army or EFCC to rig the PDP out.

“I want to tell Oshiomhole that Edo people are prepared to behave the way the civilian population in Turkey behaved when the soldiers marched against them. We will resist any attempt to subvert the will of the Edo people; we stand on a very solid ground knowing fully well that Oshiomhole has failed Edo people.” He said

The PDP Governorship candidate Ize-Iyamu in his speech describes Oshiomhole neglect of Owan people politically and economically as a sheer wickedness, and promised to concentrate his effort on the proper development of the locality, if elected

Ize-Iyamu at the campaign ground promised that the PDP government will tar Uzebba and Okpujie township roads, which have been abandoned, and promise to employ more teachers to schools.
