The senate forgery crisis of 2015 Standing Order between the senate and Presidency has taken another dimension as it has almost hit a level of Physical violence, by some members, who also threatened to impeach the president Mohammadu Buhari and suspend other members of the house causing disagreement between them.

According to source, it was gathered that the Tuesday Executive session almost transited to physical barging between the Chairman, Senate Committee on the Federal Capital Territory, Senator Dino Melaye, All Progressives Congress, APC, Kogi West and the Chairman, Women Affairs, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, APC, Lagos Central.

On Tuesday the senate went on a closed door meeting, to
resolve the discrepancies, and on how to move the rd chambers forward, where those who have issues with the leadership of the senate will bury it for peace and unity of the senate.

According to Vanguard news the intention of more than ninety percent of the senators was to suspend those ‘erring’ members in the Senate Unity Forum, SUF who dragged the Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki, his deputy, Senator Ike Ekweremadu and others to court over alleged forgery of the 2015 Senate Standing Order.

A senator told vanguard that the mood of senate was for the suspension of the troubling senators and for the upper chambers to prove the supremacy of the legislature as well as teach the presidency and the executive a lesson that the National Assembly and the Senate in particular be left to carry out its legislative duties effectively without any interference.

The senator also said that they have also advised the senators involved withdraw the case from the court, as they was no case of forgery order.

This news was first reported by Vanguard.
