Who
is Chief Ojo Madueke?
Chief Ojo Madueke was born in Ohafia
Abia state, Nigeria on May 6, 1945 and died on June, 29, 2016 He was appointed Minister of Culture and Tourism in 1999 by the then president Olusegun Obasanjo, he was also appointed Minister of transportation by Obasanjo in 2001, on 6th, July, 2007, he was appointed the Foreign Affair Minister to Nigeria by Late President Umaru Musa Yaradua. Madueke left when Late President Yaradua died, as the new Government by the then President Goodluck Jonathan dissolved the old cabinet by Yaradua and set up his own cabinet.

By 2011 He was the
deputy director Presidential campaign for Goodluck/sambo
ticket. In the same 2011 he was also made the National Secretary of People
Democratic Party (PDP). Madueke was
also part of the few nominated for SGF, which led to continuous lambasting by
the eastern Part of Nigeria, he was later dropped.
Madueke was an ardent advocator on driving bicycle
to work, when he was the transport Minister in Nigeria. Even though he was told
that the road was not conducive he continued his advocate.
