Nigerian Army Trains Troops, and Move Weapons to South South




The Nigerian Military Force is set to tackle the Niger Delta crises which will commence its actions this weekend, as it has started its training titled “EXERCISE CROCODILE SMILE” in 82 Division which is part of the 2 Division areas responsibility to harmonize the South-South geo-political zone.


According to a statement signed by the Acting Director, Army Public Relations Col.Sani Usman said “The general public is please requested not to panic on the sight of unusual movement of large number of troops, heavy military weapons and equipment in these areas”

“The aim of the exercise is to practice our Special Forces and other units of the Nigerian Army in Amphibious and Internal Security Operations in riverine environment and also check criminal activities like kidnapping, militancy and piracy and other forms of criminal activities in support of the civil authority” it added.

ASSU Lambast FG, For Poor Educational Standard and Scrap of PUTM



The Academy Staff Union of Universities, ASSU has lay an accusation to the federal Government of Nigeria for contributing to the fall in standard of the Nigerian education, and for in its global rating. ASUU complained of the reducing in budget instead of allocating more budget to improve standard.
ASSU National President Comrade Biodun Ogunyemi in a journalist briefing also criticized the government decision to scrap Post-University Matriculation Tertiary Education and Lamenting that Joint Admission and Matriculation Board could not admit student into the Institutions.
The union also ask FG. To pay the N623 billion, is owing ASSU for the earned academic allowances and funding of universities. A German Car Train was Attacked by an Armed Man, with Ax and Knife


Less than two hour ago in a German train car, a man armed with Ax and knife attacked four people                        why three are in critical condition.
It was also gathered that 14 other people are being treated due to shock of the bad event according to a police official
The armed man later short when tried to attack a police man. The motive for the attack is yet to be known,

Baton Rouge Shooting Three Police Dead Others Wounded, Obama intervene

Lagos State Governor ambode will release N25 billion to creative youth only


Lagos state governor Akinwunmi Ambode in a Youth Empowerment program, titled: “Unlocking the Potentials Within: Making your Ideas Work.” At Epe Lagos, said that only skilled and creative unemployed youths would benefit, from the first disbursement of N25 billion state Employment Trust Fund loan scheme.

Terror Attack Left 84 And Many Injured in Nice, France

Why a journalist was sentenced to two years jail by a president



Yesterday a journalist and blogger was sentence to jail for two years and a fine, for
Reportedly insulting the Algerian president Abdelaziz Bouteflika, in his broadcast,
as said by the bloggers advocate, Amine Sidhoum.

Amine told AFP that he would lodge an appeal against the prison sentenced, and the fine of 200, 000 dinars, ($1, 800). To the 42 year old blogger Mohamed Tamalt.

According to a source it was also gathered that Tamalt was a London based blogger, and was arrested during a visit to Algiers in June last month, “offending the president” of the Republic” and the countries constitutional bodies, under articles of the penal code, Amine said.

Buhari stop using Corrupt EFCC to fight corruption—Fayose said



Governor Ayodele Fayose has always appear on the pages of the Nigerian newspapers, to criticize. But on Wednesday he accused the Nigerian President Mohammadu Buhari of unfairly fighting corruption, and said that Economic and Financial crime commission (EFCC), are equally corrupt, and that fight for corruption should be spread across all the parties and not just for People Democratic Party PDP.


“EFCC opinions remain their opinions and if they are so sure of whatever information they have, they should go to court and stop subjecting Nigerians to media trial and that no amount of media trial from the same elements that orchestrated my removal in 2006 can erode my popularity among Ekiti people.” He said.

He said his properties and company are legitimately acquired, he also claim that his asset were fully declared, and that his election was funded by Zenith Bank PLC, donation from friends, family, and associate.
