A source said the exercise started two weeks ago with governor Ambode topping other governors by 36.1 percent, which was titled ‘Good Governance Polls for Nigeria’s Top Performing Governor’.
Followed by Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State on the second position with 25 percent, third position goes to Governor, Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State, with an 8.8 percent while Rivers State, Governor Nyesom Wike close mark him with 7.9 percent, and Kaduna State governor El-Rufai who stand in the fifth position with 5 percent vote casted.
It was also gathered that the voting is ongoing as it is expected to end in three days’ time.
As said by the organizers it was designed as part of African Leading Magazine strategic engagement tools to monitor performance and gauge the mood of the electorates, and provide credible information and support to leader in Nigeria and Africa at large.
The result also shows that Governor Ambode of Lagos State has really done well in the continuous
transformation of Lagos state Infrastructure, human capital development, and good governance.
