Mahershala Ali Made History As The First Muslim Actor To Win An Oscar Award



Thousands of crowed who gathered at the 89th Annual Oscar award Night applauds the movie moonlight as their very own Mahershala Ali worn as the Best Supporting Actor, Ali became the first black Muslim to have win the award in the world Donald Trump.

According to LA Times, Ali 43 is the fifth black
actor win an Oscar award for his or her supporting role, and the first ever Muslim to take home an acting Oscar history.

Ali who was over whelmed by his newly worn award, said with the differences in religion, all our worship is target to one God.

"Regardless of theology, or however you see life, or relate to worshipping God — as an artist, my job is to tell the truth and then try to connect with these characters and people as honestly and deeply as possible," Ali told the LA Times.
"I’m proud to own [being Muslim] and I embrace that. I just feel blessed to have had the opportunities that I have had," he added.
The 43 years Ali was said to have been converted to Muslim as an adult with the name Mahershalalhasbaz Ali until 2010. He is married to a songstress, a composer and, artist Amatus Sami-Karim, who said to have given birth to a baby girl. He is and actor who featured in Moonlight, He also appeared in Hidden Figures, Last year’s Luke Cage and House of Cards.
