The Government Of Indian Allows Women To Carry Knives For Self Defense in Metro Trains




It is true in case you don’t know, the New Delhi the capital of Indian now allows women travelling through the metro trains to carry knife for self-protections, after series of news of sexual harassment in the city and other part of its country.

According to the Hindus Times “the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) allowed small knives up to four inched long” according to source, even lighters and matchboxes, were
earlier disallowed, have been removed from band items in New Delhi. “However, we examined the tools and make an entry in register so that the passenger can be traced if needed,” a CISF official told Hindus Times.

The official also said the “We carried and in a review and found that with this items passengers safety is not in danger,” when asked about the danger it posed to the society. 




A source said the action taken by CISF may have been motivated due to what happened in Bangalore Early last week, when dozens of women were allegedly molested, in the present of more than 1500 Indian Police officials.

However, the country seems divided about the CISF’S new policy. Some the citizen say its good while others say is a ‘scatty’ idea.
